The Âz Ragni ("The River" in Dwarvish) was a river in the Beor mountains. It flowed out Tarnag's lake and out of the valley the city was in.[1] From there, it went along the northern edge of the Beors before merging with the Ragni Darmn at the end of the Odred Valley.[2] This doubled the river's size and speed to the point that the shores were eventually over a mile apart with an unstoppable current between them.[2] The Âz Ragni then flowed north and then west and ended up at Hedarth where it connected with the Edda River.[3]
Eragon, Arya, Orik, as well as their dwarf companions took the Âz Ragni out of Tarnag on their way to Ellesméra.
