A Warrior and a Healer is the 42^nd chapter of Eragon. It takes the point of view of Eragon.

Summary[]

Eragon escapes from Gil'ead with Murtagh, Saphira, and the elf (whose name later turns out to be Arya). They deduce that the Shade (Durza) and the Urgals are working for Galbatorix. Eragon tries to heal Arya, but her critical condition proves to be beyond even the best of his magic abilities.
