Adare was an elf of Ellesméra who tried to help Sloan, though Sloan objected to this assistance. Sloan initially mistook Eragon for Adare when the former visited him after the end of the Rider War.[1] Adare may be the same elf as the musician mentioned during Eragon's previous visit, made before he departed with Saphira for Feinster.[2]
