Ajihad is the 52^nd chapter of Eragon. It takes the point of view of Eragon.

Summary[]

In this chapter Eragon, Murtagh, and Saphira meet Ajihad, leader of the Varden. Murtagh is imprisoned for refusing to let the Twins read his mind. Eragon is asked to recount his journey and learns something of the Varden history, including the loss of Saphira's egg. Orik is removed from active service for a time due to his disobedience of orders in saving Eragon from drowning.
