Ardwen Lake was a lake that was bordered by the elven city Sílthrim and out of it flowed the Gaena River. It was entirely hidden by the vast forests of Du Weldenvarden. Ardwen's waters were so smooth and flat, they produced a flawless reflection of the trees and clouds, which Eragon described as "looking through a window at another world."[1]
