Bless the Child, Argetlam is the 53rd chapter of Eragon. It takes the point of view of Eragon.

Summary[]

Eragon and Saphira bless a baby in Tronjheim. Using the Ancient Language, he utters the words "Atra gülai un ilian tauthr ono un atra ono waíse skölir frá rauthr.", believing that he blesses the child to be shielded from harm. He and Saphira then head to the Dragon holds above the Star Sapphire.
