Djimon Hounsou in 2009
Djimon Hounsou (born April 24, 1964, in Cotonou, Benin) is the actor who played Ajihad, the leader of the Varden, in the film version of Eragon.
Hounsou has appeared in a number of well-known films, among them Amistad, Gladiator, The Island, and the Blood Diamond.
