Dormnad was an agent of the Varden who lived in Gil'ead. After meeting with Murtagh, he agreed to lead Eragon to the Varden. However, before he could help the Dragon Rider, Eragon was captured by Urgals and given over to Durza. It is unknown what happened to him after this, as he was not mentioned at all for the rest of the series, and Christopher Paolini has never talked about him.
