Glûmra was a dwarven deep dweller of the Family of Mord. She was the mother of Kvîstor. After Kvîstor died, she cut off her smallest finger, as is custom for deep-dwellers. She was very religious, and Eragon admired her for her inner strength.
Glûmra looked forward to joining her husband in Morgothal's dining hall, but stated that those who try to hasten their journey are not admitted. Eragon asked her about her convictions, she stated that she believed the world could not be any other way. She held a great feast for Eragon and his guards to honor her son's memory, but displayed signs of sadness when she thought no one was looking.
