Haberth was a horse-breeder in Therinsford. He sold Snowfire and Cadoc to Brom and Eragon. He wanted to keep Snowfire and sire a great line of horses from him, but reluctantly parted with him after Brom made an offer of 200 crowns. He was heartened by Brom's statement that he would treat Snowfire as if he had been sired by Gildintor, the great steed of legend.
