Hedarth was a dwarf trading post situated between Âz Ragni and the Edda River. It was also the most easterly known settlement in Alagaësia

In Eldest, Arya, Eragon, Saphira, Orik, and their dwarf guards visited this post while on their journey to Du Weldenvarden, with the dwarves taking donkeys from the outpost for the rest of the trip.[1]

In Inheritance, Roran, Eragon and Saphira, Arya and Fírnen met Orik here and stayed at Hedarth for two of days, before Eragon left Alagaësia on the Talíta.
