The Inarë were legendary beings apparently from Alagaësia. One may have been sighted by Eragon after the conclusion, or during, the Rider War but some time before he left Alagaësia. In Paolini's new book outside of the universe of the Inheritance Cycle, To Sleep in a Sea Of Stars, he has a character called Inarë, who seems to be Angela, or an alternate universe version of Angela (explicitly confirmed by Paolini in a reddit AMA on April 25, 2023). This is evidenced dialogue, having a near exact quote of hers, talking about how she likes to be where interesting things are happening, in her interaction. This is also evidenced by the presence of a cat with her of an unpronounceable name who seems to be a stand in for, or actually a version of, Solembum, and that in Jeod's letter he mentions that Angela may in fact be an Inarë. In addition when asked in a talk whether any characters in To Sleep in a Sea of Stars reminded him of any from the Inheritance Cycle in his talk on the book online with Barnes and Noble, he said that there were none, with one exception he wanted people to find for themselves. In the addendum to the audiobook version he confirmed this, stating "Inarë is exactly who you think she is."
In a reddit AMA on April 25, 2023, Paolini writes, "Inarë = Angela the Herbalist. They're one and the same."
