Ivor was a farmer in Carvahall. During the evacuation of the residents of Carvahall to the Varden in Surda, Ivor decided to stay, as his uncle Svart refused to go and Ivor doubted he could leave his farm anyway. Ivor's believed demise was a sadness to Roran, who knew him well, although it is unknown if he died.
