Nía Island was one of five islands in an archipelago near the coastline of Alagaësia and was the smallest of the five. It lies adjacent to the larger Beirland Island. Between them, there existed the notorious Boar's Eye, a whirlpool about a few miles in diameter. The island was described as being only an outcropping of rock.
