Narda is the 44th chapter of Eldest. It takes the point of view of Roran.
Summary[]
The villagers make it across the Spine, but not without some tragedy: Hida, Brenna, and Nesbit froze to death. Roran, Horst, Baldor, Loring's three sons, and Gertrude go to Narda. They hire a man named Clovis, who owns three Barges, to take them to Teirm.

- This is the first Roran chapter to be set outside of Carvahall.
- From this point on, Roran wears a beard.
