Narheim was a Dwarf member of Dûrgrimst Ingeitum. When Orik temporarily left the Varden for Farthen Dûr, Narheim took his place leading the dwarvish forces allied with the Varden. He was desperate for the Dwarves to fight when Murtagh attacked the Varden, but Nasuada would not allow it, due to their short stature.
