Ola was a human female and the apparent significant other to the swordsman Tornac, although it is unconfirmed whether they were husband and wife or simple lovers. Acquainted with the young Murtagh Morzansson, who remembered Ola as being a pleasant and round-faced woman, Ola was on Tornac's mind in his last moments of life and after being struck down during his and his protege's escape from Urû'baen, the swordsman requested with his final dying breaths that the son of Morzan, if given the chance, visit Ola to give her Tornac's apologies, although Ola's partner worried that she would instinctively hate him for how his decision had brought on his death. Murtagh, although guilt-ridden at the thought of bringing such dark news to Ola, presumably carried out this request.
