Othman was the author of The Acts of Taradas and Other Mysteries of Occult Phenomena as Recorded Throughout the Ages of Men, Dwarves, and the Most Ancient Elves, a work which, though Arya stated was 'filled with mistakes', recorded information on the construction work of Erst Graybeard and King Radgar passed down through the memoirs of Lord Yardley which proved vital in the Siege of Dras-Leona.
