Roran is the 4^th chapter of Eldest. It takes the point of view of Roran.

Summary

Roran goes to visit his farm. He's reminded of much of what has happened and how he blames Eragon for what happened, though he is supposedly also not angry with him. When he gets back he finds out that Albriech was accused by Thane of stealing a scythe. The next day there is a trapper that carries many rumors, including that the Urgals have seemed to almost disappear, there's a Shade afoot, and there's a Rider in Alagaësia. Roran doesn't believe that there's a Shade or a new Rider. After listening to the trapper's news, he sees Katrina. She tells him that he needs to talk to Sloan about getting married because she can't wait forever and keep rejecting her father's suggestions.
