Shadowhunter was a white female werecat and mate to Grimrr Halfpaw, making her the queen of the werecats. Eragon encountered Shadowhunter when he found Angela sharing stories with Urgals. Shadowhunter clawed Eragon's leg when Angela told the story of how she humiliated Grimrr Halfpaw. Angela also mentions that she was old friends with Shadowhunter, and appears to be on much better terms with her than with her mate.
