Stefen Fangmeier was the director of Eragon, which was released on December 15, 2006. He has been the visual effects director of many notable films, including Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Saving Private Ryan, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He has been a second unit director for two films: Dreamcatcher (2003), and Galaxy Quest (1999).
