Shades[]
Do shades die? Sure, when they are stabbed, the body dies, but the spirits live on. So when Eragon stabbed Durza, Carsaib died, but the spirits lived on, just without a body. - I think we do not have enough information to give a clear answer. For example, what will be the result if the spirits from Varaug's body possess another magic user? Will the shade be Varaug again or somebody different? --Weas-El Talk|Contribs 13:51, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
Tornac[]
In Inheritance, Murtagh tells Nasuada that his escape from Uru'baen was on the same day as the destruction of Eragon's farm. This is the same escape that led to Tornac's death. Regardless of whether or not it was detailed in the series, Tornac died within Eragon and should not be italicized in this list. Kyro-Dizzy (talk) 02:21, April 9, 2013 (UTC)
