Thunder Roar and Lightning Crackle is the 17^th chapter of Eragon. It takes the point of view of Eragon.

Summary

Eragon, Brom, and Saphira are traveling across the vast plains that stretch across part of the Empire. The Ra'zac, it seems, have gone to Yazuac, a small village four days away. They encounter a thunderstorm on the way to Yazuac. The wind is too much for Saphira and she is forced to land, but barely makes it to the ground.
