This pair of bandits were a duo of two young thugs who attempted to attack Murtagh one night while he was returning to his camp, leaping on him, only to be killed by Murtagh in a reflex action, one of them, who Murtagh identified simply as a kid, whimpering as they died. Described by Murtagh as "foolish, uneducated louts who hadn’t the slightest chance of taking him down", after killing Sarros, Murtagh looked back on the brigands, who's death was a year old by them, with regret, wondering what it was like to live a life without killing.
