Vision of Perfection is the 30th chapter of Eragon. It takes the point of view of Eragon.
Summary[]
Eragon wakes up alone and uses Scrying to see Brom riding Saphira, and to see Roran. He then scrys the imprisoned woman from his dreams, who looks directly at him.
Brom and Saphira return and Brom chastises Eragon for how he handled the situation with the Urgals, allowing them to get away and spread word of his existence, as well as nearly killing himself with magic. Brom begins to teach him when to use magic, not just how.
